per Cody's request

Last Sunday:

A little girl in my class peed her pants (tights)... I didn't really notice until after class. The poor thing sat in it the whole class hour.

Preface to this incident:

I usually make all of the little tykes go to the bathroom and get a drink between our singing time and class time. I forgot this week. After the prayer, the sister of the aforementioned tyke says to me " My sister needs to go to the bathroom.",in which I replied " Fine, go". This little girl is really shy. Instead of her getting up and going she just stayed. This started the usual trend of " I have to go to the bathroom too..." from the rest of the hoodilums. I laid the smack down and said " NO! No more pottty breaks until after we are done with the lesson." I thought since she never got up and went, she really didn't have to go.
The two little boys kept asking me why it smelled like pee. They would then proceed to look at each other and laugh. I really couldn't smell anything so I thought they were just being my typical little boys. I silenced them and went on with the lesson.
After the closing prayer I noticed a puddle on the carpet below her chair. Yup, she did in fact need to use the bathroom.

Some time ago.

I was a super shy 3rd grader. I wouldn't even read outloud for my teacher so she had to fail me in Oral Reading.
It was story time. remember the carpets you got to sit on
My teacher was very adamant about leaving class during story time. I had to go to the bathroom. I got up the guts to ask my teacher. She refused to let me go of course because it was story time. I had to go real bad. I asked again. No, she replied. I felt something and realized "no" didn't work for me. I bolted out of the room, down the hall as fast as my little legs could go. I had my pants half-way down before I got in the stall. I didn't make it. I started crying. A friend arrived to tell me I was in trouble. My punishment turned into embarassment from Mrs. Johnson. You do not tell a shy girl she can't go to the bathroom. It already took her 15 minutes just to ask. By the time she asks she is on the verge of an accident anyway.

In Conclusion:

I hope that little girl comes back to Primary this Sunday. I hope that no one found out, and I don't get a lecture from someone this Sunday.
I have no doubts in my mind why I have yet to be blessed with little hoodilums of my own.

What Mrs. Johnson didn't allow you to go to the bathroom. How horrible, I know it takes a lot of guts to say you need to. Hope she comes back.
