Yesterday we sat behind two young families, both with boys of similar ages. With no warning one boy stood up and stated to his mother in the silence of sacrament meeting" I don't like that kid , we fight. I don't like him at all!" He then continued to stare the other young boy down until tears were welling in the other boy's eyes.
OH, why can kids be so mean, I thought. Why can't they realize in years to come they will need each other? They will be in situations where they are the only believers. I hope one day they realize how they are one of a kind and have a Heavenly Father that loves them both equally. I hope one day they are the best of friends because they have similar beliefs and goals. I hope and pray that one doesn't offend another causing one to leave his beliefs, but instead I hope they bond together and raise each other up.
One hour later I was called to teach these two young boys and their peers. In my weak Spanish, I am suppose to teach them the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm an influence in these little boys' lives.
Please ....oh please….pray for us all.

Oh how fun to teach primary! I do the same but I have it easier this year than last year. I have all girls and occasionally a boy. I usually only have 4 kids at most. Good luck... We should get together some time?
