Weekend Visitors

We had our first overnight visitors this weekend. Jon and Tiff had to run to L.A.. They dropped off the little ones ( Ashton and Kevin ) on Friday. We had tons of fun, but they wore me out. Here is a picture of them chillin in the Love Sac, watching Barnyard for the the fifth time.

Apartment finds

We've been trying to actually hang stuff up and decorate this apartment. Here are a couple of attempts at my very rusty interior design skills. We are very proud of the light fixture which we found at the D.I. for $5.

Halloween Past

Because we didn't do anything or dress up for Halloween , I decided to post some pictures of our Halloween Past. I was going through pictures today and found this one of Menny. It has to be one of my favorite pictures of him. It's so cute. I dug through my pictures to find this one. I loved this bunny costume my mom made me so much that I would wear it throughout the year. I have another picture of me with the ears on and a basket full of eggs. Homemade costumes from my mom were always better than my friend's store bought versions.

The time has come

I really hate to admit this. I have officially become a resident of the state of Utah. I had to change my driver's license and didn't have the time to go to Idaho, so this is the result. I am not very happy about it. I still carry my Idaho license in my wallet as some sort of protest. Plus the Idaho one has a much better picture on it.

WORKING?

So I am extremely bored at work. I think I need to find a more challenging job.
But here are some random finds I found today while "working".

They have yummy flavors of toothpaste like pineapple, pumpkin pudding, fuji apple ( my favorite), indian curry and caramel. They also have kits with mouth wash.

This adorable little round crib. NO!, we aren't having a baby anytime soon. But when we do, this is were he/she will slumber.

They have really pretty jewelry.

and finally ; this couch

I want it really bad, but not going to happen for awhile. I just think its great because you can arrange it 5 different ways but it looks a lot nicer than those crappy foutons.

414 sq ft of living

We are moving to a different apartment this weekend and we will definitely NOT miss the following from our current living quarters:

1. The garbage always smells, which makes the whole apartment smell because it is so small. And if that's not what smells then it is the neighbor's smoking, and they are not smoking normal cigarettes.

2. The little demon boys next to us that throw mud at the wall and kick soccer balls into our windows at ten o'clock at night.

3. Our neighbor that plays the same three guitar chords over and over every night with his door open.

4. The suitcases in our living room and extra bedding behind the couch.

5. Only having the space for two chairs around our dining table because to get past the table into the kitchen we have to have the table against the wall.

6. Three weeks of laundry piled up in our closet because I don't want to haul it to the laundry room.

7. Scrounging up enough quarters to wash laundry.

8. The oven that burns everything , but yet the maintenance guys say its fine.

9. Mold in our bathroom.

10. A heater that won't turn off.

11. Half of a stove.

12. Tripping over our carpet that is pulling up.

13. Food piled everywhere because there is nowhere else to put it and we continue to shop at COSTCO for some reason.

Although we are moving just across the complex, there are a few little things I am going to miss.

1. The cute little kids next door.

2. Our walk-in closet.

3. Cheaper rent.

4. Close to our parking spot.

5. Free heat from our neighbor.

6. Cheaper utilities.
