I just wanted to post pictures of my 3 favorite wedding gifts. They are from my very thoughtful husband. They are all things I have seen lately and he wouldn't let me buy because I really didn't need them. On our wedding night he surprised me with all of them.

The gold shoes were also part of a bet we had going on. Menny told me if I didn't drink coke for a month and a half, he would buy me a pair of shoes. Those were the shoes I wore to our wedding luncheon. They looked so pretty with my new dress. :)

From the day I picked these up from the flower shop , I fell in love. The are the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. I didn't get a chance to take a picture until we got home from our honeymoon, so they are looking a little limp. I hope the photographer got some better photo ops.

Ok, I know this comes as a shocker, but lately I can't find clothes that I really really like. I go shopping and find NOTHING. Now this has been a big concern for me. I'm I losing "who I am"? Do I not like shopping anymore??!! Do I not like clothes anymore????!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

But , never fear.....

I went to the GATEWAY mall yesterday to pick up something Menny had put on hold. I decided to pop into Anthropologie to look for some new stationary. OH! How did I forget about this store? I loved everything I saw. This store has the perfect mixture of what I've been looking for: grown-up and sophisticated with still a touch of unique and fun.

I am also a fan of this website lately. They have basic tees that go beyond basic.

Hogle Zoo

We celebrated Pioneer Day by going to the Hogle Zoo with Aubrie and Blake. We saw the "Ghost of the Bayou" ( that freaky looking aligator that looks like it should glow in the dark),elephants, tigers and many many monkeys. Good times were had by all!
