Unemployment Day #1
- doctor appointment
- scheduled little N's birthday December 21st
- ( if he doesn't like it... he has one choice: COME EARLIER)
- looked at ideas for birth announcements
- made lists of things to do, make, buy etc.
- Facebook, Google Reader, Gap Baby
- drank coke zero and sugar free hot chocolate (bleh!)
- made a list of sugar to have on hand after this kid comes out
- tried to drink water the rest of the night
- looked through N's closet
- nap
- dishes, laundry
- nightly ritual of watching The Office and reading Baby Center on my Ipod

The Little Things
I've had a friend that has inspired me to blog again. She is writing every day. Nothing grand, just blogging.
This holiday weekend. We have gone NO where and done pretty much NOTHING. To tell the truth I am loving it! We decided to lay low this year. In 2008 we had this and 2009 we had a smashed car ! No good luck on this holiday for the Rodriguez Family.
Today I sit here at my new computer editing wedding pictures and eating my favorite white enchiladas pulled from the freezer. My ipod is playing anything from The Beatles to Shakira to Creedence Clearwater (courtesy of Menny). I got out of cleaning the kitchen until later because Menny is sleeping.
If I make a good dent in these pictures I may treat myself to a coke and watch Julie and Julia. Oh and a quick trip to the neighborhood grocer to grab an onion for dinner. Man, I wish my garden was ready. All in a dress.... because doesn't every girl wear a dress on the weekend?
Why the little things? I love my new computer that Menny finally decided to buy me because he knew it would make me happy, I love my white chicken enchiladas that I don't make very often because someone else isn't a fan, and I love coke. Those are the little things making me love life today.
I leave you with a photo booth photo. Not because we never had photo booth, but it's fun to re-discover things you have forgotten about. And it makes me laugh!
